Here they are in their finest! I was so glad the holiday was on Saturday! We had all day to get ready. We headed over to the mall in the morning to warm us up for the day. It was so crowded! It was dissapointed to see so many stores not participate. I vowed to not shop there in the future, cause if you know me I shop sooooo much at the mall. We went out with the neighbors. we walked up our block and back. it wasn't the longest evening but somehow it was enough. We got the kids in jammies and watched movies with the rest of our spooky evening.

Crazy Hair
Breena had crazy hair day today. So we tried to make it crazy. I think it worked. I tried to put some glitter stuff in her hair but it really didn't take. she was so excited to get on the bus and a little nevous at the same time. Was it really crazy hair day or would she be going to school looking crazy?

Fire House
Cody's Pre-school class was supposed to go to the Firehouse for a tour, the morning of they called and said there was a quarantine due to the swine flu, Ms. Jaci begged them to let her bring the little ones to the outside and have them bring out a fire truck to show them. They agreed and off we all went. The fireman was awesome. he really did a good job of talking to the kids. He showed them gear, put it on, let them get right up to the truck. I think everyone wanted to be a fireman after that!
Stone Fox
Trever is now in the 3rd grade~ and with that comes change. His teacher has the class reading different genre of books, then they have to do a report in front of the class on it. Trever read The Stone Fox. He made this out if a shoe box. He had so much fun. Rick and I were able to go and listen to him retell parts of the story. my favorite part was the end because he wouldn't tell them. He told them to get the book and read it to find out!

Hunting Season
Don't die of shock, I am still here. I have just been super busy and really don't like the time it takes to upload all the pictures~ So let's get back on track.
Hunting Season is one of our favorite times of the year. We have a tradition that we hope goes on forever! Ricky has made quite a few friends over the years, as we all have grown and moved sometimes it's hard to get together. We have such a friend, Curtis Page. We met him when Rick and I both worked at Anderson Lumber years ago. He invited Ricky to go hunting with his family and Ricky being new to Utah agreed. It has been a yearly get together and the Pages are definately our hunting family. They are the sweetest, kindest, most giving amazing family I have ever met! They now have a family cabin that the wives and children can gather at while the men search for that elusive Elk. Again this year Ricky was unsucessful but we had a memorable time. The kids played in the loft until they couldn't keep their eyes open. when we talk to the kids about the milestones of our year New years, valentines, St. Patricks, Easter... we always include the Cabin. Thank you Pages, until next year~
