All I want for Summer is my bottom tooth!

Breena lost her first tooth, she is only 5 doesn't that seem a bit early? I didn't beleive her at first. Carly (a friend at daycare) had told Breena if she ate apples it would make her teeth loose, because that is how she lost her tooth. So shortly after Breena had eaten an apple she told me her tooth was loose. Sure enough it was loose thanks to the apple. She also has a tooth coming up behind it. she wasn't about to let anyone get ahold of it though, since big brother had been through this he knew better than to let dad take a look, and he didn't hesitate to let Breena know about this, so each time Ricky would ask to look she would cover her mouth and run far far away. Well she went outside to eat poprocks because I hate stick floors and came back missing a tooth, she said she didn't swallow it but really where else could it have gone? So here she is toothless with the one next to it already starting to wiggle.

Final Dance Recital

Breena had he final dance recital. She was sooo cute. She still loves all the makeup and hair stuff. I think the tiara totally fits her! I finally bit the bullet and had Rick take a picture of me with her. She really has grown up. I was looking at her first dance recital pictures, it seemed ages ago, my sweet baby girl.

Without a TV and still entertained

So out TV bit the dust, Breena finished watching her Island Princess (Barbie) and shut the tube off, so later when I wanted to be lazy and watch a few sticoms I went to our trusty TV but got NOTHING. Ricky went out looking for a new one, but all he could find were flat screens, I haven't heard much about them, but the few comments weren't good. So off to Lynn's to see if we could fix her, they suggested getting a new set, but seriously what would I do if I got a set that was easy to carry and light? Half the fun is wondering if you were going to lose your toes while carrying the huge thing. so for 2 weeks we were without a TV (just the little one in my bedroom) we had a lot of fights and withdrawls over this. Cody did try to entertain us a bit. He is so funny!

Trying to Train

It's about time that our two youngest learned to ride a bike without training wheels, Breena leans so far to her right side she is half off the seat, her right training wheel is about worn out and the left one looks new! Ricky took the training wheels off of Cody bike to try and get him to ride, he didn't do so well, he also didn't want to cooperate, I guess it's like potty training, they just have to be ready!

Garden Time!~

We are late every year planting our garden, we know it's coming but yet we never get it in! The kids absolutely love to plant! We have also down scaled each year, this year it's the bear minimum. Maybe I can keep on top of it this time, maybe not. I really hate weeding it's a waste of time! We planted pumkin, squash, zucchini, cucumer, corn, bell peppers, and tomatos. Now it's wait time.

Health Days

I am begining to like Smithfield Health days, begining. I never remember doing these type of things as a kid, going to a "fair" type place, it almost seems to be a waste of time and money, but Breena was in the parade for her dance group, and they were performing later at the sports complex. They didn't have Navajo tacos!! that is a first in my entire life, both Rick and I were craving them, we had to go home and settle for hot dogs. It's a good thing the complex is only a few blocks from home, I forgot Breena's tap shoes and had to run to the car, race home, grab the shoes and run back, Ricky kept calling me to tell me she was about to go on and to hurry! I got my workout for sure!

Big decisions!

After a lot of thought and a lot of time (all the way back to January) Ricky and I decided that is was time for me to retire my working hat and become a full time MOM! horray maybe. It was the wierdest thing to give 2 weeks notice. I thought for sure I would be there for eternity! on my "last" day they threw a party for me. I almost cried. They gave me this beautiful boquet of flowers. I really am special!
