Easter Morning

I remember Easter as a kid! I loved suprises. I guess that never changes. They were all so excited to see what the bunny brought them. At our house the easter bunny hides the hard boiled eggs we dyed the night before. He ususally sticks to the living room. The kids ran every which way to find them. This year I decided to do a big easter egg hunt in the back yard, instead of just eggs I got little toys, bubbles, money, and other random items. I am tired of paying a fortune for their teeth! They looked high and low, the weather wasn't so bad either, we spent the rest of the day blowing bubbles and playing! We loved having ANN TAN with us!

Easter Pics or so I thought

I really should just give up and realize I have great memories, cute picutures, not perfect pictures. I try and try to get one good pic, I beg, bargain, plead, yell, and cry but it doesn't work any wich way. I finally gave up again. Here are my beauties in their Easter outfits don't they just look adorable! I cannot believe how big they are!

Blackhawks

We had some guard training today in Logan. There were blackhawks making the rounds. they passed right over our house. it was "totally wicked" as Cody would say. They thundered by so loudly. I loved the sound. The kids were so excited kind of like Christmas morning.

Easter Egg Hunt

My neighbor Annie decided to have a neighbor's easter egg hunt. Last year we tried for a few weeks but the weather never cooperated. It didn't look like it was going to this night either, but we decided to anyway. The kids didn't care. Breena looked like a train wreck. We stayed up late the night before riding the new bike and 4 wheeler. She wouldn't get out of bed, then she wouldn't get dressed. She almost went to daycare in her jammies, Cody did. So there was no time for hair. I was impressed it turned out pretty even. We had the little kids on the front and the big kids in teh back.

Trever is almost 8 and so spoiled

Well one child cannot be out done by the other. So after a savings account drain the boys are now even. Trever's birthday is in June, but Rick decided to give him his gift early. I asked Rick when was the last time he spent that much on me, he smirked and said I am sure I have sometime. then I reminded him when, oh yes my wedding ring. Kids do get it all. Trever puttered around the pasture in first gear for awhile. He never dumped the bike over. Then Breena decided to ge on the 4-wheeler and race him. I thought for sure she was going to tip it over. She gunned it every time she thought T was close by. Her little arms looked like they were going to shake off. We roasted marshmallows over the camp fire. It was a perfect evening.

Happy Birthday Cody

Today lasted forever, in a good way. We hung out and played. The only frustrating thing was trying to get my oven to work, but finally after 4 hours of messing with it cake was a go. It was also the first cake out of about 40 (yes I counted) that finally looked good. After all this I find out my sister in law Lulu decorates cake. Hello they have been married for 2 years and this is just coming up. We had a b-b-que with the kids. I love summer foods. It was an AMAZING day. We played outside all day. Riding the 4 wheeler and jumping on the tramp. My parents, sister Ann Tan, and brother Andrew with his wife and adorable son came over. There should be more days like this.

Girls Night Out

My sister Ann was coming up for the week end. I like to think because it was Cody's birthday, the real reason I am sure is quite different. She suggested a girls night out. But the kids could come along as well. After prying the kids off the 4 wheeler we headed out. We started by going to Happy Sushi (remember what happened last time) I was pleasantly surprised. I order plain California rolls, miso soup and a couple bowls of plain rice. Cody ate the sushi like it was the best thing on earth. Trever loved the seaweed in his miso and Breena ate a whole bowl of rice covered in Soy Sauce. The are learning to love fast. I am so proud. Next we set out to bowl. by this time it was almost eight. the kids were tired, but ready for an adventure. We bowled our pants off. Cody had to have this one stupid blue ball every time. it didn't roll down the lane right. Maybe it was the pretty flower sticker on it that he liked. It was pretty crazy. I never got a second to sit down. At the end of the night T-Dog one. He also lost his coat. Who does that? I want to thank Aunt Lulu for helping with Breena! (oh yea, i guess Ann Tan also, that is what they call her!) My mom was there also. I don't think i have ever had a girls night out with my mom. it was a blast! Watching Breena trying to bowl reminded me of the movie Uncle Buck. She wanted to try and roll it, after using the stupid kid ramp thing. It didn't really work well, it was still fun, then we came home and crashed.

Cody is 4 and spoiled!

Rick and I have been talking for awhile now about what to get Cody for his 4th birthday. We asked him and repeatedly got the same answer. I want a 4-wheeler, a real one. Rick set out to look for one, and ended up coming home with one. Cody was suprised and "stoked". I have his first ride caught on camera sort of. I didn't expect Rick to walk along side of him, next thing I knew I was pinned. We laughed so hard. Each of the kids got a turn. Breena was fearless. When we told her to slow down she asked why? Even Rick got a turn. he needed to adjust the choke, wouldn't want them to be going fast. Cody Loves Ghost Rider (you know the one with Nicholas Cage) He always does the point (when he goes to the alley and the devil is standing next to his fixed bike) then he rev's the engine, and does a little hop like he is jump starting the 4-wheeler, the last thing he says is "Lets Ride" Even better his gloves have skeleton bones on them. What a caracter he is.

Just Sit Still and Smile

I am wanting to take a few pics of the kids close up so I can put them in these beautiful frames my brother made for me out of the barn wood (from the old barn in my parents back yard, it even smells like I remembered) the frame size is 11x14. All I needed was 5 seconds, one great smile, and 3 different kids. This is what I got instead! yes it was mostly Cody, but they all think the camera is goof off time. Rick was laughing at me because I got so frustrated.
