Grave Digger, and Monster Mutt!

We took the kids to the Energy Solutions Arena to see Grave Digger and Monster Mutt! They were all excited (thanks Ann Tan for picking up the tickets for us!~ your the best sbh ever!!!) We pretty much took out a second mortgage to buy each of the kids a hat or shirt and a toy! The show was awesome!! I love to hear the loud trucks it gets the blood flowing! Monster Mutt won the Regular competition, and Grave Digger won the free style, he flipped his monster truck for us. The Air Force Afterburner was winning and he had to do something drastic if he had a chance. Ricky and I have never seen one flip live and seconds before the grand show Ricky leaned over and yelled in my ear that we should have gotten tickets for the night show because that is when they get crazy and for now they had to not rip their trucks up because there was still another show coming up, but Grave Digger came through~ When we got home the boys made their own arena and had their own show. I love it when little boys play! I hope they never grow up. and yes Cody was exiled to his own arena, you just can't have 2 Grave Diggers in the same arena, funny thing is he really didn't care he played anyway.

Do these look familiar?

These were a pair of jammies I got from my grandma? (all sisters had matching ones) when I was a little one. It's a sad day to watch your daughter fit into them. by the way she LOVES them!

Looking back ...

This was taken in October 06. I was browsing my pictures and came across it. Sorry for the graphic nature of the beast. I was looking at Breena and how petite and adorable she looks. I forgot she was once so tiny, since now she is huge! Ricky and our neighbor Jared took the little guys out for their first Deer hunt. Ricky said they would shoot anything with horns, and they did. It was the smallest 2 point I have ever seen. (dont be fooled by the photo, Ricky is hold some really nice sheds up to the deer to make it look bigger. the accurate picture is the boys!) Trever was 5 and Breena was almost 3.

What do Kids, 4-Wheeler, sled and an iced over road equal?

Tons of fun. Ricky was the driver, yes his knee's are up to his ears! he tied the sled to the back and would go up and down the road with the kids on the back! They would laugh and giggle until one would spill over the side. I would have never thought, but then again I am not a kid at heart!

Christmas with the Griswalds, I mean Wallace's

I love getting together for Christmas, we always laugh and never follow the agenda set forth by the parents. We get together on Christmas Eve, try to have a nice dinner and let the evening unfold. We usually read and sing something and then onto the real tradition. We write a predictions letter to ourselves to read next year, and then read the ones we wrote last year. Ann's is always the funniest but of course no on is quite like her! Lu read us a fun story from Elmo land! by the way she makes the BEST rice crispy treats ever ever ever! mmm now I am hungry again.

KIDS, Yes I have them!

We sort of have this reoccurring situation at our house, it's usually on a Saturday morning and involves running, tag, screaming, and on many occasions blankets and belts. The kids love to be "caught" and wrapped into caterpillars as they call them. Then they have to try and get out while the "monster" is asleep. I married the best dad ever and I didn't even know it! Well today it was payback. The kids were out to prove they could conquer and I believe they did!

I lost my tooth

Breena lost her 3rd tooth yesterday! She was standing in the grocery store with the neighbor and she pulled it out! We were on our way to New Mexico for Thanksgiving later that day so the Tooth Fairy had to find us in a Hotel room that night! I was well on my way to securing Loser mother of the year. (I had forgotten Breena's paper bag coloring thing at school the day before) Ricky asked if the whole tooth fairy thing was taken care of. I said yes and waited for the kids to fall asleep, well I fell asleep before they did. So when a disappointed Breena got up the next morning I knew my award was in the bag! Ricky has magic in him and can always smooth over any situation! That is why we are so good together. I create the situation and he smooths it over! We went to breakfast ( we pulled the babes from bed at 6:00 in the morning so we could get to Ricky's parents early) and magically when we got back, the fairy had visited~ you know technically it was still dark out!
