Playing in Park City

So this would be out 3rd annual Wallace family get together. We have always had so much fun and this was no different. We arrived Friday evening with smiles and giggles. we hit the pool and then hit out pillows. (the nights were horrible, I felt like I was sleeping on lumpy laundry, the beds were small and the kids wanted to cuddle) We headed out Saturday morning in search of adventure and we struck the mother load! We went up to the Alpine Slide and Alpine Coaster. They had increased their adult all day prices by $25 ($70.00 ea. now) to much for us this year so we bought enough for Rick and I to ride each ride once! We were the first ones there so we headed up to the coaster to waite while they loaded the sleds onto the track. While waiting the lead (Martin D) struck up a conversation with us. He was from London (so there was the amazing accent) and he taught snowboarding in the winter and supervised the summer games. He asked how many times we would be riding and we explained the financial situation of their ticket prices. He wips out a blank ticket and writes " All Day Pass 2 adults 3 kids Martin D" and hads the ticket to Rick tells him if he has any problems with it just to let him know! Can you believe it a day free riding all the rides and games we wanted! so off we went. We rode the coaster until the line got to long and Rick was sick. By this point it was time to leave for lunch at the park. We ate delicious food and played softball after. We always have a good friendly game I caught Rick's pop fly and he caught mine~ so after lunch and ball we headed back to the slides can't let that pass go to waste! We rode the coaster again (we waited 1 1/2 hours in line yuck) then we let the boys jump on the trampolines, climb the rock wall and play miniature golf. After dinner we had a family service auction. This was a first and I see it being added in with all the other corney Wallace traditions. Sunday was just plain hot. We swam and hung around the motel then headed home. We always have so much fun!
