This whole pine wood derby thing is new to me. I remember my older brother participating in it back in the day, but not much to remember, Ricky didn't do scouts as a child so both of us are at a loss as far as what to do and expect.
I didn't know it was such a BIG DEAL... the boys fathers are so competative. Trever decided he wanted to make a submarine for his derby car. I don't have any pictures of the poor thing unpainted because it looked like a toy that no child should be playing with. But here it is all finished and weighing in. Ricky and Trever had so much fun working on this together!!
he won one race, took second in two and finished in other numerous places, to many to count.
