We had dinner at my parents house. My dad bought a riding lawn tractor with a wagon that hooks on the back. My adorable nephew Cole decided he wanted a ride and gpa said ok. So Andrew piled all the kids (including me) in the back and around the yard we went, around and around. When we finished Cole got upset because he wanted more. It was to much fun Rick bought one the next day and rides were given again.

Dance Recital #1
We have had Breena in 2 different dance classes, with 2 different dance companies. I am so glad to finally be at the end of the season. It has been so fun, but also a lot of work. Here is Breena's recital from Annie's Dance. She finally has a pink dance outfit. I love to do her hair all big and curly, she loves to wear all the make up. I hate the chaos, she hates the tightes. She threw a big fat baby fit over it ugh! by the end of the night it was all smiles and pride. Each year she improves so much. I am so glad that my parents were able to make it. I know it shouldn't be a big deal, we all have busy lives, but it really means alot to me when family sacrafices to be there to support her.

Party!
Party time. This was Cody's first Birthday party and I really don't think he understood what a privilege it is. We combined parties with the cutest little neighbor girl Kambry. Her and Cody are only a few short hours apart. We played pin the tail on the rabbit, cake walk, and pinata! There were a little over 20 kids there plus family. (the only family I had was my dearest sister in law Lu! thanks lover for helping me save face and prove at least one family member would come to my son's party!)

Cody Turns 5
So today has been a totally emotional day for me! It's been 5 years, really? OK yes really. I look back and wow time sure flies! I still remember a lot about the morning he was born and how different everything was with him than it was with the first 2. We were so blessed for me to be able to carry him to full term! and now he is a vibrant energetic crazy little 5 year old! I Love you Cody and can't Wait to see what the next 5 years will bring. We had a little family party for him today. We went to the Fun Park. They have been begging to go for months, but because of flu season I have opted to wait. They ran like crazy and wasted a lot of good energy! I let Cody pick his dinner, and of course it was Pizza. One of these days their favorite meal will be something I cook not buy! We let him open some of his presents since he is having a party tommorrow! Rick bought him a bike. He really needed one. He got one 2 years ago from his Grammy and Papa Klien but has sadly grown out of it. Rick also got him a pair of riding gloves (you know the ones the crazies on the motorcross bikes use) He loves them!

Easter
We LOVE Easter. The kids get so excited. They each get an outfit play or church it really depends on their need. Breena got a dress and the boys got matching play cloths. We always start our morning off with a hard boiled Easter egg hunt. I do believe that is a Ricky tradition, as a kid I always had a hunt for my candy packed Easter basket. The kids love to look for eggs, this year they were pretty well matched and the hiding wasn't very hard and as usual was limited to the living room, I think next year we will expand. Later on in the morning I do a Easter egg hunt for the kids in the back yard. I don't really like to buy candy since we had those huge dental bills last year so the hunt I have is mainly toys! We always include our cousin Cole, why not he's family. We let Cole get a head start he was totally into for 1 min they he decided he wanted to go play in the sand box. I love that little guy! Besides Grandma Wallace was going to do an Easter egg hunt for all the grand kids and she was bringing candy. you see that is what we call a win win situation! This year we had a Wallace family dinner at my house. It has been a really long time since we have done that and it was really nice to have everyone at my house. It made me have to clean!! We did a dutch oven dinner. YUMMY! Wade cooked the chicken, potato's and a mixed berry cobbler. If you haven't had the wonderful opportunity to try Wade's cooking I recommend asking him! We sat around talking and laughing! Ann brought her old roommate, friend (And Rick and I's old co-worker and friend) Tiff-A-Riffic~ (otherwise know as Tiffany) She cracks me up and love to see her! The afternoon was almost perfect, it could have been a few degree's warmer, but we survived outside on the picnic tables anyway. I love the holidays bringing family together. There I said it!

Coloring Eggs
I really don't know what to say about this. Its a yearly tradition! It pretty much explains itself. Except next year I will buy a better dye set. The pink didn't work. How crappy is that? Oh well the kids didn't care. They are so excited for Easter. ( but that didn't get them to go to bed any earlier)
