We were just sitting around watching movies pretty much all day. If you know us popcorn is a staple in our daily lives. Breena my little callepto loves to take the un-popped seeds and put them in her play cups, her purses, lines them against the baseboard along the wall, you name is she does it, well this afternoon she decides to plant them, she needs a popcorn tree. It was such a beautiful day! she goes out back and with the help of her father they plant a few seeds in the grass. back inside to play while the trees grow. in the midst of chaos, screaming, laughing, chasing, tackling, our weekly wrestling match, Rick was able to go out and get an old stick and stab it in the ground, then he turns to me and tells me to pop some popcorn and slide the pieces onto the branches! It was a hit you should have seen their faces! they ate all the popcorn and ran back to play. I must have stocked that tree 5 or six times. by the end of the evening Breena had planted seeds in the grass on the edge of the porch, not just a few but the entire length of the porch. We got lucky with the snow, popcorn trees just don't grow in the snow.
